Ghosting
When this happens, folks entirely disappear from view and refuse to return your calls or texts. This frequently happens just when things seem to be going well in the relationship; the other person may even come across as kind and polite before abruptly removing you from their lives. At this time, it becomes clear that their polite demeanour was only an elaborate show.
Bad listeners
Genuinely good individuals are always willing to give an ear and hear you out. However, since they are typically highly self-centered and it’s all about them, kind people may find it difficult to do this. Although they may appear nice, these people will do their best to steer the conversation away from you and toward issues that concern them. For instance, you may be discussing difficulties at work or school when someone interrupts you and begins telling you a lengthy tale about their own experiences in that field.
They want something
There’s a reason why fake nice people are acting so kind, and it’s usually because they want something from you. This might not be obvious right away, but eventually they’ll start directing the conversation to their needs and desires. Typically, they’ll ask you to do something or let you know that you have something they want. They only act nice to people in positions of power. This is another key indicator of a fake nice person.
Passive aggressive behavior
You’d be surprised at how simple it is for some people to be extremely aggressive while maintaining positive and nice behaviour. This behaviour is known as passive aggression, and it’s one of the major telltale signs of a fake nice person, according to research. This behaviour is common with people who have repressed their rage and want to maintain civility and sophistication when they let their anger out, but they can only do so by being passive aggressive.
